This spring's trendy makeup
Makeup trends for the spring-summer 2013 season. Master class by Jenna Menard, international makeup artist Clinique.
Smooth, porcelain skin, delicate eye lines and pastel pink lips - these are the main components of the fashion make-up for this season.
Jenna Menard has created images for models representing the collection of fashion designer Karen Walker spring / summer 2013, shown at New York Fashion Week. Distinctive features of the collection are simplicity in the aesthetics of the 1950s, original proportions, sorbet shades and combinations of unique patterns - cosmic motifs and large dots.
This style required a make-up that reflects the classic femininity and the character of modern beauty. Lead makeup artist Clinique Jenna Menard combined the moonlight of the skin with gentle lines in her eyes. And the lips became the main element of this seasonal image, the volume and soft radiance of which gives a layering of textures.
Jenna Menard tells how to create such an image:
Face: The skin should be flawless, matte and smooth. To create a porcelain effect, it is necessary to use a foundation, the shade of which is one tone lighter than the natural color of the skin. Thoroughly blend the coating with a brush and then apply a slightly lighter powder to give the skin a matte finish. Using a bronze shade of powder, create light contours and outline your face, applying a shade just below the cheekbones.
Even Better Makeup SPF 15, Stay-Matte Sheer Pressed Powder, True Bronze Pressed Powder Bronzer Eyes: With a black eyeliner, apply a very thin line along the base of the lower eyelashes from the inner corner to the outer one. Blend the eyeliner on the outer corner of the eye with a clean, soft eye shadow brush and leave the line thin and clear on the inner corner. Apply one coat of High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara to the upper eyelashes, and highlight the lower ones using a Bottom Lash Mascara with a mini brush.
Quickliner for Eyes Intense in Intense Ebony, High Impact Extreme Volume Mascara in Extreme Black, Bottom Lash Mascara in Blac Lips: This expressive pink color that gives femininity to the image should be applied exactly along the contour of the lips. To make lips more voluminous and create a matte effect, apply a few light shadows with a brush on top of a saturated lipstick.
