Together with the Timotei brand, we have compiled for you a small rating of the most fashionable hairstyles of the season and prepared short instructions for weaving braids. Choose which hairstyle you will leave home today.
Scythe- "waterfalls" ("French waterfall")
One of the most popular hairstyles today is the “waterfall” braid. She looks equally beautiful with both straight hair and curled curls.
Not all hair is involved in weaving, but only the upper strands. They turn into an elegant bezel. We take a strand from the temple and begin to weave the usual "French braid" ("spikelet"), weaving strands into it from above and releasing the lower ones. Do not forget to fix the result with Timotei hairspray from the Shimmering Shine series with rose oil, pearl extract and myrrh. It provides reliable fixation for the whole day and does not dry out hair thanks to a unique combination of natural ingredients.
With a scythe “waterfall” your hairstyle will become lighter and more voluminous, and the image will be romantic and elegant.
A tourniquet is another simple weave. Many have known it since childhood, but this season it is back in fashion! It takes less than a minute to braid a braid. Comb your hair well with the Shimmering Shine mousse with pearl extract and rose oil. With it, the hairstyle will hold on tight and look more neat.
The easiest way is to collect a high tail on the back of the head, divide the hair into two strands, twist each of them in one direction, and then twist them together and fix the weaving with an elastic or a hairpin. It will turn out a strict, neat hairstyle. And if you make a tourniquet without a tail, the image will be lighter and more tender. You can also make an unusual bunch of several flagella. In this case, you will need studs or invisibility.
Perhaps the tourniquet is not the most durable type of braid, but this does not make it any less spectacular!
French braid on the contrary "
This is an indisputable trend of the last season and a logical hit of this summer. You probably know the famous "French braid", or "spikelet" - a beautiful weave, similar to a braid, but more intricate and therefore interesting. In this case, it is woven on the contrary: thin strands on the right and left are woven one after another under each other, and not through the top. The braid itself turns out to be voluminous and looks like it was not woven from the crown, but up from the ends of the hair.
A little trick: so that the braid was wider and looked more magnificent, you can slightly pull thin strands from each turn of weaving. To consolidate the result, use Timotei “Luxurious Volume” hairspray with extracts of tonic guarana and myrrh: it will provide strong fixation of the strands without weighing down the hair and maintaining their softness and elasticity.
Despite its strange name, which does not seem to be related to the world of stylish hairstyles, this weaving is a real find for any girl. “Fishtail” can look very feminine and elegant, and if you want - extravagant and shocking, like a creative mess.
The scheme is simple: divide the hair into two parts, from each separate a thin strand and cross them. Then, from the very edge of each side, also take a thin strand and cross them again in the center. So gradually you will collect all the hair together, and what you get will resemble a fishtail. You can weave this braid from the top of the head or from the back of the head - like a simple braid. You can start weaving from the tail or grab the very ends of the hair with it, having built a pile on the back of the head.
Whatever fishtail you braid - tight and austere or light and lush - use Timotei hair sprays to prevent strands from falling apart. You can also fix the tips with varnish, and use the aqua spray from the Shimmering Shine or Intensive Protection series to refresh the styling during the day.
Among fashionistas, weaving Lino Russo is popular. The ornate weaves of strands and graceful knots on the back of the head are often found on the heads of graduates or brides: the hairstyle looks chic and ideal for special occasions. But there are several features: it is very difficult to braid it to itself, besides, the locks slip out and are poorly fixed.
We offer another option for weaving Lino Russo: the hairstyle is simple, but it looks magnificent and stylish.
Comb the hair well and apply Timotei “Luxurious Volume” mousse on them, then the strands during weaving will obediently adhere to each other and will not fall apart. And when the hairstyle is ready, be sure to use Timotei hair spray.
So, for weaving you will need a scarf or ribbon. Wrap the upper strand of hair with it, divide the hair into two parts and begin to bind them crosswise through the ribbons. This is reminiscent of the process of lacing shoes, only each time you should weave new strands on the right and left until free curls run out. Then fix the hairstyle at the base of the neck, tie a ribbon or scarf bow, or use accessories.
Experiment, change, please yourself and surprise others. Importantly, do not forget that the key to a beautiful braid is your strong, healthy, shiny hair!
