The beauty of the underwater universe
Alexander Semenov - "modern captain Cousteau", a professional underwater photographer and marine biologist, as well as the head of the diving service of the White Sea Biological Station of Moscow State University. Armed with knowledge, patience and modern equipment, he again and again plunges into the water column to discover the true beauty of the underwater Universe.
At the exhibition in the Darwin Museum, you can touch the world of bright, pretty inhabitants of the White Sea.
Surprisingly, it is a fact: even in such a cold, northern and slightly saline sea for most oceanic organisms, interesting creatures live. Here, spreading its wings, a sea angel slowly swims in front of us. Nearby, like in the wind, in the water column red curtains sway - the mouth of the jellyfish of Cyanaea. And somewhere below, closer to the bottom, restless herds of Sea goats graze.
Photos of Alexander Semyonov will take you to another planet where sea monsters live their outlandish life and only for a moment appear from the depths, snatched out by the flash of the camera.
